Islamic and Arabic program

Islam is a way of life and we believe it needs to be incorporated throughout a child’s education to help them grow into kind and caring individuals.

Our children learn about the fundamentals of Islamic belief, basic Islamic manners, essential duas, small surahs and have an Arabic curriculum.

Islamic studies

Our Islamic studies are a natural part of every day at Unity Juniors.

Our programs implement the fundamental Islamic beliefs. This includes the Six Pillars of Iman and Five Pillars of Islam. We teach the basics of everyday life:

  • Islamic greetings
  • Essential dua (e.g. before and after eating, before sleep)
  • Islamic manners (e.g. how to eat, how to be thankful)

We celebrate Islamic festivals, and we teach the value and significance of each celebration, including:

  • Ramadan
  • Eid ul Adhaa
  • Eid ul Fitr
  • Hajj

Arabic studies

We offer an Arabic curriculum. It provides foundational Arabic learning for entry into Islamic private schools.

We teach Arabic in a creative way that is embedded into our learning program so children can learn easily. The program introduces the children to:

  • Arabic alphabet
  • Arabic numbers
  • Arabic colours
  • Essential duas
  • Essential surahs

Children learn the most important surahs that they will recite for the rest of their lives, including:

  • Surah al Fatihah
  • Surah al Ikhlass
  • Surah an Naas
  • Surah al-Falaq
